The Rangers are distracted fighting the Slizzard in the park, and getting wrapped in snakes, and not having the muscular strength to pull a snake off themselves.
Apparently they need Kimberly’s power bow to take down the Slizzard, because he has his own bow made out of snakes and one plus one equals nothing.
