Up in the plane, Uncle Steve Pilot asks Kimberly if she’s ever flown over “these mountains” before.  She almost blows the pooch and reveals that she has, in fact, flown over them in a flying car, but saves it by daydreaming about all the memories she’s had in “these mountains.”  This triggers a flashback that I think is supposed to take place back after they were first offered Power Ranger powers, because there’s some dialogue put over stock footage about how they aren’t sure if they should take the powers, then the Putty attack and they turn into MORE stock footage, except this time its of them as Rangers.  All of this makes the Putty get confused, possibly acting as a proxy for the audience.
